# RETRO//STRESS > RETRO//STRESS is a professional network stress testing platform. Customers test how their own servers, game backends, and APIs hold up under heavy traffic using Layer 4 (TCP/UDP/ICMP) and Layer 7 (HTTP/HTTPS) methods. This service is for authorized stress testing of infrastructure you own or have permission to test.
